mom over 40, mom of 2, anxious moms, mom rage regulation

Are you a mom over 40 - struggling with anxiety and mom rage?

Well then good thing you found me!

Hi.👋🏼I'm Erika - a holistic health and nervous system coach for moms over 40. Welcome to Salty Mama Wellness.

Here's the thing...

You’re not an angry mom.

You’re an overstimulated one.

If you’re a mom over 40 with young kids and you feel like your nervous system is constantly on edge—
snapping faster than you want to, exhausted no matter how “healthy” you try to be, and quietly wondering what the hell happened to me—

Let’s get one thing straight:

This isn’t a mindset problem.
And it’s definitely not a character flaw.

It’s a body that’s been carrying too much for too long.

I help moms over 40 calm anxiety and mom rage at the nervous-system level, so motherhood feels safe, connected, and genuinely good again.

If “just calm down” actually worked…

you wouldn’t be here.

You’ve probably tried:

  • Therapy or mindset work

  • Self-care routines that lasted about a week

  • Supplements, diets, or “doing all the right things”

  • Telling yourself to be more patient (spoiler: guilt is not regulating)

And yet:

  • Your body still feels braced

  • Sleep is light or broken

  • Small triggers feel huge

  • The rage comes out fast… then the guilt hits harder

That’s because most approaches completely ignore what’s actually driving this:

👉 A nervous system stuck in survival mode.

Anxiety and mom rage are not the problem.

They’re the signal.

When your body doesn’t feel safe—because of chronic stress, hormonal shifts, environmental load, and years of carrying the invisible mental weight of motherhood—it stays on high alert.

That looks like:

  • Overreaction instead of regulation

  • Snapping instead of patience

  • Shutdown instead of connection

Not because you’re failing…
but because your body is overwhelmed.

Calm isn’t something you force.
It’s something you teach your nervous system to access again.

My approach is different (on purpose).

I don’t coach moms to cope harder.
And I definitely don’t tell them to “push through" and "stay strong". I tried that. It got me nowhere.

At Salty Mama Wellness, I take a whole-body, nervous-system-first approach that supports real regulation—not temporary relief. I've personally found this to be the BEST way to approach nervous system dysregulation, as it's not generally a single trigger but multilayered.

What that means is, we focus on:

  • Reducing the background stressors your body is fighting

  • Teaching your nervous system how to feel safe again

  • Nourishing and restoring what’s been depleted

  • Creating regulation that actually holds up in real life (kids yelling included)

This work is for you if:

  • You’re a high-functioning mom 40+ with young kids

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or rage feel like your baseline

  • You’re tired of blaming yourself

  • You want real regulation—not more coping tools

  • You’re ready for a grounded plan and real support

You don’t need fixing.
You need your body back on your side.

This work is grounded in physiology, lived experience, and practical application—not wellness trends or toxic positivity.

Physiology

Focusing on getting our whole physical body working all together - mind, body, spirit. Exploring root cause vs symptom management.

Lived Experience

Using what you've lived through and experienced - negative and positive - to find a path that works for you. Focus is on the subjective, internal, and emotional reality of your situation.

Practical Application

Implementing theories, knowledge, and/or techniques to solve your anxiety and mom rage issue at the root - and end up with a tangible outcome you can celebrate.

Having a Simple Plan that WORKS - in the Right Order

Meet Erika

(a salty mama who knows her shit)

I’m Erika Glover—holistic health and nervous system coach, CPT, CTNC, and mom who knows what it feels like to look completely capable on the outside while your body is quietly waving a white flag.

In my early 40s, I experienced panic attacks that came out of nowhere—despite eating well, exercising, and doing everything I’d been taught was “healthy.” That’s when I realized this wasn’t about trying harder. My body didn’t feel safe and I was scared.

What changed everything wasn’t more discipline or lifestyle changes—it was learning how to support my nervous system with safety, intention, and respect for the whole body.

Now, I help other moms do the same—without shame, without fluff, and without pretending motherhood isn’t intense as hell sometimes.

Your next step

You don’t have to figure this out alone. My Nervous System Regulation Assessment is a calm, no-pressure conversation where we:

  • Look at what’s driving your anxiety and reactivity

  • Identify where your nervous system is stuck

  • Map a clear, supportive path forward

No hype. No judgment. Just clarity.
